Days after asking prayers for his health, Willie Revillame thankfully revealed that the polyps found in his body are noncancerous.

Willie, popularly known as Kuya Wil, earlier shared in a live streaming of his show Wowowin that he underwent an executive checkup and his doctors found suspected polyps in his stomach and colon.

“Meron akong stapler,” said Willie explaining why he wasn’t able to dance and sing during the show aired last March 24.

Wiillie related that he previously had polyps in 2019 but were ruled out to be benign at the time.

“Madalas merong ganoon, natatanggal naman every year. Eh two years ho tayong hindi nagpa-executive check up because of COVID. So, dalawang taon akong hindi na-check, and then merong nakita sa stomach ko,” he said.

On Monday, the Wowowin host revealed his cancer screening test result, sharing the conversation he had with his doctor.

“Sabi niya, ‘O, Willie, kumusta ka? Sobra ka magdasal. Good news, negative ka sa cancer!’ Thank you Lord! Thank you,” exclaimed Willie who admitted that he had sleepless nights and became worried while waiting for the result.

Sabi ko nga, I’m ready. If worse comes to worst, ooperahan ako, puputulin yung bituka ko, ready naman ako,” he said.

Willie has advised his viewers to have regular medical checkups to avoid risks of having serious health issues.
