These OPM artists and social media personalities have debunked a circulating post about their supposed guest appearances at a campaign rally of presidential bet Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Sara Duterte.

The now-deleted post claimed that Parokya ni Edgar Zack Tabudlo, Agsunta, Cong TV and Team Payaman , IV of Spades, Philia and Toni Gonzaga are set to have special performances at BBM-Sara’s Uniteam campaign sortie on April 10 at the Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex in Zamboanga.

Several of the aforementioned artists however, took to social media to deny their appearance and participation in the said event.

Here’s how they reacted to the false news.

“This is not true,” wrote Parokya ni Edgar in a Facebook post.

Blaster Silonga of of Pinoy rock band IV of Spades, meanwhile, said, “Kailanman hindi mangyayari ito, ngayon pa lang sinusunog ko na ang tulay”.

“Awit peyk news na na nga lang di pa magandang picture ginamit sakin,” Binibini hitmaker Zack Tabudlo wrote in jest.

OPM band Agsunta, also quipped, “Wala po kami dito, nasa bahay lang kami ng araw na yan”.

Vieln Ilagan of content creator group Team Payaman shared a screenshot of the Facebook post via Instagram story, with a “fake news” sticker on it.

Band drummer Allan Burdeos of Kamikazee, likewise, lambasted the circulating post, saying “NEVER kami mag paparticipate sa kampanya na ito, MGA SINUNGALING”.

He added, “Gusto ko lang tahimik at hindi ma involve sa mga ganitong bagay, kaso kailangan namin gawan to ng aksyon. We are not for sale!”.

Meanwhile, metal-core band Philia fronted by actress-singer Arci Munoz, has yet to release a statement on the matter, as of writing.

Toni Gonzaga, on the other hand, is a known vocal supporter of the BBM-Sara tandem.
