After getting congratulatory messages from netizens, Myx VJ Ai dela Cruz had to make it clear that it was her older sister IA dela Cruz who got married and not her.
BoybandPH member Tristan Ramirez and IA exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony at an Iglesia Ni Cristo church in Cubao over the weekend.
Tristan shared photos from their wedding, calling it the “best day of my life”.
IA, as well, posted snaps from their special day.
“I have found the one whom my soul loves. Thank You, God. I love you, my husband and forever crush,” IA wrote as caption.
Ai, on the other hand, took to Twitter to congratulate her sister and Tristan.
“So happy for my beautiful sister @IAdelaCruz! Huhu you have a different last name now. Di na tayo twinning ng names,” wrote Ai.
“Welcome (officially) to the fam, @boyband_tristan!!! Kahit dati ka pa naman talaga part,” she told Tristan.
Ai, however, revealed in the following tweet that there have been netizens who have been congratulating her after confusing her with her sister.
While she appreciated the greetings, Ai clarified that it was her sister who tied the knot.
“Sa lahat po ng nagta-tag at nagco-congrats sa akin sa FB/Twitter/IG, maraming salamat, na-appreciate ko naman,” she said.
“Pero hindi po ako ‘to. Kapatid ko po yung kinasal. Congratulations, @IAdelaCruz & @boyband_tristan!!!,” she added.
