Kristine Hermosa looked back at the time when her husband Oyo Sotto got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage, which happened to be her birthday.
The actress turned 38 years old on Thursday, September 9, but also made Oyo feel the love on her special day.
“12 years ago… same day today… noong naglakas loob kang mag-propose at naglakas loob akong umu-oo sayo ?,” Kristine wrote as caption for her kissing pic with Oyo alongside a family photo she shared on Instagram.
“I thank the Lord for guiding us through — 38 years grateful ❤️,” she added.
Oyo earlier penned a heartwarming message for Kristine, expressing how much he and their children love and appreciate their “ilaw ng tahanan”.
“Sa aming ilaw ng tahanan, maraming salamat sa lahat ng sakripisyo at pag mamahal mo sa amin. ❤️ Sana naipaparamdam namin sayo ng ating mga anak kung gaano kami nagpapasalamat at kung gaano ka namin kamahal,”
He continued,, “Nag papasalamat din kami dahil napakabuti ng Diyos sa buhay mo at nating lahat. Mahal na mahal ka namin @khsotto ❤️❤️❤️ Maligayang Kaarawan! Mahal kita?.”
The couple have been married for 10 years now, and are parents to children Ondrea, Kristian, Kaleb, Vin, and Vittorio Isaac.
