For her boyfriend Markus Paterson’s first Father’s Day, Janella Salvador recounted the big sacrifice he made for their baby boy Jude Trevor.
On social media, the actress looked back on the moment Markus had to fly back home to the Philippines alone just a week after their son was born to shoot for a film.
“We brought you to the airport and as soon as we arrived, I saw the extreme sadness in your eyes. I actually cried during the car ride home without you. It felt surreal, you having to leave your son right after he was born. But you did it for him. You always do,” she wrote.
She then thanked Markus for being “the most amazing, hard-working, present and hands-on father” to their first child together.
“I couldn’t be more thankful that I’m going through this crazy parenthood chapter of life with you. Happy Father’s Day, booba-boo,” she ended.
The 23-year-old actor officially became a father on October 20, 2020. Janella gave birth to their baby at a hospital in the United Kingdom.
The two chronicled her pregnancy journey on a Youtube video where they announced that they are already parents.
