A week before the celebration of Father’s Day in the country, a 16-year-old boy melted netizens’ hearts with his touching message to his “erpat”.

A certain Allen Curth Espeleta recently took to Facebook to simply share how it feels good to be working and spending time together with his father who works as a carpenter and a painter.
“Wala lang guys, gusto ko lang sabihin na ang sarap pala sa feeling na pag yung tatay mo kasama mo sa isang trabaho,” said Allen as he posted photos of him and his father at a house they were working on in Caloocan City.

Allen went on to express his love and gratitude to his father for all the efforts and sacrifices he has done for his family.

“Mahal na mahal kita papa. I love you, proud na proud ako sayo.

Allen, the eldest among the five children of their family, said he willingly extends help to his father whenever it is needed.

“Bukal po sa akin yun ma’am,” Allen said in an interview with STAR’s Latestchika.com.

According to Allen, he did not expect that his simple post would go viral, saying that he merely wanted to show his appreciation for his parents’ hard work.

“Bilang pasasalamat and proud lang po ako sa papa ko kasi hardworking po siya ma’am eh and karapat dapat pong ipagmalake ang bawat magulang,” he said.

As of writing, the viral Facebook post has already gained nearly 70,000 reactions and 30,000 shares.
