Rufa Mae Quinto received a sweet birthday surprise from her Filipino-American husband Trevor Magallanes.
The comedienne-actress, who turned 43 years old last May 28, recently shared a clip of her giving her new ride a spin.
“Birthday gift ? ? ❤️ Saya saya namin mag-ina! Salamat mahal @trevvvsilog!” wrote Rufa Mae, who wed Trevor in 2016, in an Instagram post.
Rufa Mae currently resides in California with her husband and their four-year-old daughter Alexandria.
In a recent interview with the GMA show Tunay na Buhay, Rufa Mae shared that she originally planned a two-week stay in the US last year but didn’t have the chance to go home after lockdowns were imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Admitting that she’s getting homesick, Rufa bared her plans of coming back to the country this year.
“Pero, definitely this year, uuwi ako. Gusto ko bumalik para ayusin ko ‘yung buhay ko diyan dahil may brand new house ako na hindi ko na nakita. Five bedrooms, ang ganda-ganda tapos wala, hindi na nauwian.”
In November 2020, Rufa expressed her gratitude to her husband for getting them a new house in the US.
“We love you @trevvvsilog! We are so happy to be here in the USA with you! Thanks for taking care of us! Thanks for the new house , for working hard, for providing,” Rufa said on Instagram.
Rufa recently made showbiz headlines after gracing the cover of a US magazine in May.
