Kris Aquino revealed that she has finally received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The television host-actress made the announcement on Instagram, informing her followers that her doctors chose the Swedish-British vaccine, AstraZeneca.
In the photo, the 50-year-old was sharing a meal with her son Bimby and her lawyer Gideon Peña.
They were also joined by Batangas Vice Gov. Mark Leviste, whom Kris thanked for visiting her BGC condo and bringing food. In the same post, she advised him to get his vaccine as well.
“Thank you for the visit & the food vice gov @markleviste, although I believe you should get your vaccine soonest because you’re just protecting yourself, you must get your vaccine for the safety of your constituents, friends, family, and loved ones. Agree?” she wrote.
The politician responded to her post with a simple: “Agree, Madame. Thanks!”
Back in 2018, Kris was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, chronic spontaneous urticaria.
“I am now, and for the rest of my existence will be, on high dosage antihistamines and having the EpiPen will always be crucial,” she said in an Instagram post.
Currently, only the priority groups A1 (medical frontliners), A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (persons with comorbidity) are given vaccines by their local government units.
